Idaho Falls...
I grew up in Idaho Falls. After I was married my family moved to Colorado and then Utah, renting the home I grew up in. For the last 22 years our little home has taken a beating from the various renters and it is left in pretty bad shape. My parents have moved back now and there is a lot of work to do on the home. Allen and I flew there this past weekend to help them. Allen put new windows in the home and I painted walls. It was so exciting to actually see out of the windows! We worked really hard and I feel like we didn't make a dent. I am serious when I say that this little home needs an EXTREME MAKEOVER! I am tempted to actually send something in to the real show :) Well, my parents don't have the energy and health to do this, so it is up to us and the sad part is that none of us live close to there, so we are trying to recruit as much family help as we can. Being there brought back a lot of memories. They raised seven kids in a three bedroom home with one(1) bathroom! I'm not sure how we survived, especially because four of us were teenage girls at the time (teenage girls/bathroom...) I don't remember the home being as small as it is, which goes to show how much our perspective changes. I am glad they are back because I love the country and I am hoping to help as much as I can. I know it'll be really nice when we get it all done.
